Sword Shearing Moonlight

A commission piece that I did for a client's (Manic Dogma) original character! Her name is Sword Shearing Moonlight, which is a name that's just as badass as her swords-woman profession itself. The scene depicts Sword in a slow, deliberate gait with her katana drawn. Rain is lightly drizzling downwards, while the dim glow of village lights flicker behind her in the far distance. All signs point to full-on combat. Time to go.

Manic Dogma is planning to incorporate this character into a future novel that they're writing, which is super exciting to be a part of! Really enjoyed painting this piece and seeing Sword come to life ^^
